01 Andrew DavisThis past week we signed Andrew Davis as a keynote speaker at AppForum. For those of you who don’t know Drew, check out this link to a video by him. He’s an entertaining, informative and energetic speaker whose message resonates with the AppForum conference. As Drew puts it, “I’m a big believer in the power of print and that’s why I can’t wait to be part of next year’s PODi AppForum event in Las Vegas. In an information overload world, we’re seeing more and more big brands elevating digital content to print. They’re using it to extend the life of content that works online and they’re seeing the impact. I look forward to sharing the things that work, while I challenge attendees to re-think the way they sell their services. It’s going to be fantastic.”

Drew has already had an impressive career in which he’s worked for The Muppets in New York, marketed for tiny start-ups and Fortune 500 brands, and authored an Amazon best-seller book, Brandscaping: Unleashing the Power of Partnerships. Andrew co-founded Tippingpoint Labs and was its Chief Strategy Officer helping them build digital strategies for publishers like Rodale and Meredith and for other companies like Putnam Investments and TomTom. For more than a decade he’s led the charge to change the way publishers think and how brands market their products in a digital world.

Drew is also embracing AppForum’s new interactive format designed to engage participants by agreeing to meet and converse with conference attendees after his keynote address.  Drew reflects that “networking with attendees is something I always look forward to. It’s in those intimate conversations that I hear tomorrow’s solutions to today’s big issues.”
